  It's GREAT!
  It's OKAY, but...
I like the old look better.
Is that the best you could do?

A while back, someone asked if there was anything that could be done to solve the problem that some pages display too wide causing a scroll bar to appear. I looked for the original post, but since I can't find it, I assume it was probably about the time the forum went down and two months of posts were lost. In any case, I have found a solution to the problem, and it seems to work on some of the worse pages.

The Forum works best if you have a window close to 1024 wide. If you only have an 800x600 display, then you will probably see scroll bars fairly regularly. If you have a 1024x768 or higher display and maximize the window, you should no longer see scroll bars for the whole page.

I'm an engineer by trade. Like far too many engineers, my grasp of spelling is rather poor. Luckily, one of the upgrades on the new forum is a Spell Check feature. When you enter a post, you will see a "SpellCheck" button near the text box. Pressing it will bring up a new window that will walk you through a spell check of your document.

Enjoy,
- John
